i hear rats in my roof.

two days ago, two guys came to cut the trees down that were serving as their entrance and exit from my rafters. i haven't heard rat noises for 3 nights, i'm comfortably sleeping my own bed with earplugs. i didn't put my earplugs in tonight and i heard one. they alway scurry. always on the move, in a hurry. this one was barely trudging along. labored movement. they don't have any food except rat poison and no way to escape.

i'm killing them.
